{"id":77,"date":"2020-03-01T10:24:18","date_gmt":"2020-03-01T06:24:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mcmintranet.aus.edu\/?p=77"},"modified":"2026-05-11T12:47:00","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T08:47:00","slug":"ixo-events-highlight-overseas-study-possibilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mdcmediahub.aus.edu\/index.php\/2020\/03\/01\/ixo-events-highlight-overseas-study-possibilities\/","title":{"rendered":"IXO events highlight overseas study possibilities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By Wadha Al Maeeni<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UNIVERSITY CITY \u2014 During the International Exchange Office\u2019s annual Study Abroad Fair on Feb. 23-24, American University of Sharjah undergraduates learned how to apply to spend a term overseas next academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around 50 students attended the event on both days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IXO peer advisors provided information about the various opportunities available for the exchange program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fair also assisted interested undergraduates with the application process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Peer Advisor Douriya Djabri said that students could apply to the program through IXO bi-lateral partners or the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She added that anyone interested in studying abroad should visit the IXO office in the Main Building for further assistance.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fair was linked with the Study Abroad Workshop scheduled for Feb. 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Djabri said she hopes that \u201ca lot of students would apply to the exchange program.\u201d<br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Wadha Al Maeeni UNIVERSITY CITY \u2014 During the International Exchange Office\u2019s annual Study Abroad Fair on Feb. 23-24, American University of Sharjah undergraduates learned how to apply to spend a term overseas next academic year.
