{"id":5348,"date":"2025-09-08T09:16:57","date_gmt":"2025-09-08T05:16:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mcmmediahub.aus.edu\/?p=5348"},"modified":"2026-05-11T13:13:38","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T09:13:38","slug":"aus-to-launch-new-mobile-app-this-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mdcmediahub.aus.edu\/index.php\/2025\/09\/08\/aus-to-launch-new-mobile-app-this-month\/","title":{"rendered":"AUS to launch new mobile app this month"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By Hessa Alsuwaidi<br><br>UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH \u2013 The American University of Sharjah announced<br>Monday it will launch a new &#8220;myAUS Mobile&#8221; app in mid-September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the email from the Provost\u2019s office, the app is meant to &#8220;streamline the<br>student experience and enhance efficiency across academic and non-academic<br>services.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Features aimed primarily at students include the course catalog and a personalized \u201cMy<br>Calendar,\u201d as well as non-academic features such as digital student IDs and a<br>centralized notification hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The app will also include information such as bus schedules, campus news updates,<br>and student support channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A key feature expected to be well-used by faculty is a portal to take and record class<br>attendance.
