UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH \u2013 The American University of Sharjah\u2019s Performing Arts Program will present Faustus<\/em> in late April, the College of Arts and Sciences announced March 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The performance, directed by Prof. Anthony Tassa, involves his adaptation of Christopher Marlowe\u2019s horror play about a professor who sells his soul for earthly glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tassa also designed the sets for the play, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. performances on April 23-25 and 28-30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Faustus<\/em> will take place in the Arts building rotunda. Tickets are 50 AED each. Because of the play\u2019s horror theme, it is recommended for audiences 12 and above.
