{"id":4198,"date":"2023-02-20T14:27:00","date_gmt":"2023-02-20T10:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mcmhub.aus.edu\/?p=4198"},"modified":"2026-05-11T12:46:53","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T08:46:53","slug":"egyptian-club-booth-among-club-fair-award-winners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mdcmediahub.aus.edu\/index.php\/2023\/02\/20\/egyptian-club-booth-among-club-fair-award-winners\/","title":{"rendered":"Egyptian club booth among Club Fair award winners"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By Carine George<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH \u2013 The Egyptian Cultural Club came third in votes for the best cultural booth for the spring 2023 semester\u2019s Club Fair at the American University of Sharjah on Feb. 14.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Club Fair took place in the Student Center on Feb. 13-14.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ECC\u2019s pavilion was a recreation of ancient Egyptian temples and was designed to act as a photo booth for visitors. Attendees drew on clay pots, made mummy jars, and got Egyptian-themed stickers. The board members distributed the traditional dish <em>hawawshi <\/em>throughout Club Fair.
