{"id":2444,"date":"2021-12-12T05:23:55","date_gmt":"2021-12-12T01:23:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mcmmediahub.aus.edu\/?p=2444"},"modified":"2026-05-11T12:46:56","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T08:46:56","slug":"campus-access-to-require-app-green-status","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mdcmediahub.aus.edu\/index.php\/2021\/12\/12\/campus-access-to-require-app-green-status\/","title":{"rendered":"Campus access to require app \u2018green status\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By Dana Salem<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH \u2013 American University of Sharjah as of Dec. 23 will require all campus residents and visitors to obtain an activated Al Hosn app showing green status, signifying a recent negative PCR test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ministry of Education guidelines require anyone above the age of 12 to provide a negative PCR test received within 96 hours of their first entry on campus.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A recent email from AUS\u2019s Health Services department stated that it is an individual\u2019s responsibility to maintain the green status on Al Hosn app by being fully vaccinated and taking a PCR test every month.
