UNIVERSITY CITY, SHARJAH—American University of Sharjah students received career guidance, CV reviews and assessments at a College of Arts and Sciences event Sept. 14 at the HSB Rotunda to introduce new and returning students to career resources.
The assessments aimed to help students identify their strengths, interests and possible career paths.
Students also received CV reviews and guidance from Talabat’s Talent Acquisition Team, which provided tips on improving CVs and information about internship and job opportunities.
“It is a great start to encourage them to learn more about our services and help them start planning for their careers,” said Hiba Khayata, career services manager for CAS.
The event also featured games and activities, giving students an opportunity to engage with Career Services while learning about available resources.
